Vimala Thakkar condoled

His Excellency the Governor of Karnataka   Mr. Rameshwar Thakur has condoled the sad demise of Vimala Thakkar, a close associate of Vinobha Bhave. In his message the Governor said: "She was a staunch follower of Vinobha Bhave which led her to spiritual life and social service.  Vimla Thakkar will  live in the memory of her friends, admirers and followers for whose good she relentlessly worked.  In her death a link between the old world values and the modern society has been lost.
