Red Bull Paper Wings2009 Contest
All it took was a piece of paper. It was of secondary importance what form the ordinary piece of paper (80g/m2) took when it took off from the contestant’s hand. Meditating, tinkering and testing the aerodynamics were what needed to be done. All forms of assistance or supplementary devices were forbidden in the three categories of the competition - “longest distance”, “longest airtime” and “aerobatics”.
Solely with the aerobatics round were the hobby engineers allowed to use scissors, glues and other materials.
