Young Achiever
Raghavendra scales teaching heights
With Kannada as his medium of instruction in Athani Taluk, North Karnataka never did Kulkarni dream that he would get a chance to teach software languages in English in countries like U.K., Singapore and Beijing, China.
Probably, Raghavendra (33), is the youngest linguist in software, knowing and training software engineers in 10 languages. He is a Symbian Accredited developer and is amongst the top 8 trainers in the world recognized by Nokia. No doubt, he is in demand as a guest lecturer in IIT's, IISc on behalf of Symbian and Nokia.
He has now started covering more learners through e-learning, all over the world. He has already trained over 5000 software engineers and has devised wonderful ways of integrating freshers into the mainstream of work. Though a taskmaster, his humble and caring nature helps his students to do well.
With a Knowledge Excellence Award and recognition for improving concepts and processes in his areas of work, he has now been selected as a Sr. Manager, to launch and develop Mphasis Learning Academy, an EDS Company, at Mangalore. Be it technical or soft skill training, Raghavendra has a penchant for continuous improvement. Outbound programmes and email training too saw a sea change during his tenure as training manager at Kshema and later at MphasisTechnologies. Raghavendra continues to improvise and put his skills to the use of his students.
