Bangalore lass Kubra Sait, who ended up as one of the top 10 finalists in the recent Miss India Worldwide 2009 talks about her life-on-the-go and how it has changed for her after the Miss India worldwide contest:
• How much of Bangalore is in you, now that you are working in Dubai as a marketing specialist with Microsoft?
Very. My tryst with the glam world began in Bangalore when I was voted Miss Beautiful Eyes in the Miss Bangalore contest, and was also one of the top 5. I had lot of support from my school, New Horizon School and College, and also Buoyancee's Ajit Kaikini and Sadhna Kaikini, my god-parents, who groomed me, plus my brother, Danish Sait, Mom Yasmin Sait. 
• How did you develop an aspiration for glamour?
I started as a rookie when I was 15, and then my participation in the Miss Bangalore contest changed the course of my life. I started compering radio and TV shows. I now hope that I go on to become an actor!


• How was your outing in Durban like?
Very exciting, we had the chance to get a taste of the night life there! It was an amazing feeling to watch the premier of Billu Barber as celebrities in the leading Cineplex of Durban at Sun Coast Casino. One of my best experiences was visiting the Daymed hospital at Pietermaritzburg where we were all not only felicitated but also given an opportunity to interact with the ailing children and women in the hospital.

• And in Durban?
The visit to ISKCON temple, where all of us contestants fed the poor in far flung areas of the city, after which we were treated to the scrumptious vegetarian meal cooked from the vegetables grown in the garden of the ISKCON.
