EduMedia tells Students to say

"I Can Do It!"

i can do it

EduMedia, a pioneer in creating progressive learning avenues for the schooling community, has launched its film based learning modules division. EduMedia's maiden venture Mentor (www.mentormagazine.net) - India's only print magazine aimed at school principals and heads of educational institutions established in 2007, reaches to 10,000 schools across 40 cities.
EduMedia also launched the country's first ever film-based learning module for children titled "I CAN DO IT".
Announcing this, Mr. Syed Sultan Ahmed, Managing Director, EduMedia said, "We plan to leverage the powerful impact of audio-visual media - cinema, internet, television or emerging media to create learning avenues for children. Though schools are increasingly investing in technology infrastructure to deliver educational aids, there is a dearth of quality learning content that combines fun with learning."
"Though management schools and even corporate now use films as learning modules, there is no similar content available for children. We plan to significantly enhance our library of content by launching titles and virtually trigger a 'School Cinema' movement," Mr. Sultan added.
EduMedia has signed an MOU with National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad to develop the communication frame work and design for School Cinema. Films will be sourced from NID, FTII Pune and prominent film makers. The issues covered by the films are thoroughly researched with psychological inputs from experts. Topics include values, life skills, adolescent, career, parenting, citizenship, environment etc.
EduMedia is launching the film through an exclusive screening for more than 1000 school principals, academicians and educationists across the country.
It is the first time in India, that a short film is being used as a learning method for children with supporting worksheets and lesson plans. Psychological studies prove that reassurance, guidance and emotional support boosts students self-confidence which in-turn helps them perform better in exams. I CAN DO IT aims to do that!!
I CAN DO IT is a film based on the life of an 11 year old boy - Aditya, who is very naughty, playful & forgetful. Aditya comes from a middle class family who expects him to study well and get good grades in academics. The film takes us through a fun-filled emotional journey of his school life. It also highlights the simple day to day issues of self esteem, fear of exams, peer influence and bullying. His friend Rahul helps him take a journey which changes his life and the way he is looked by others. The movie featuring original and motivating sound tracks is dedicated to - all the children who don't know they know!
As a complete learning module, the package includes the 40 minute Film DVD, Guidelines Booklet, worksheets for Children, Teachers and Parents.
