The film hits the screens Friday, and its major cast includes the sizzling Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman.
The film is produced by Vishesh Films, one of the most respected production houses in Bollywood, and co-presented by global music giant SONY BMG and is distributed by Sony Pictures India.
RTMC revolves around a successful model, Nandita (Kangana Ranaut), who is in love with a documentary film maker, Yash (Adhyayan Suman). Nandita's life takes a dramatic turn when she meets an artist, Prithvi (Emraan Hashmi). He tells Nandita that he can see her future through his paintings and now there's impending danger for her. Initially, she does not believe him but then starts facing horrifying situations herself. After this, hell breaks loose and an unstoppable storm begins.
Says 27-year-old Mohit Suri, the director: "I have attempted to make a film that really challenges our beliefs about the paranormal phenomena. How far do we believe in such phenomena? We have got a fantastic feedback to the first look and the music of the film. All the actors and other supporting crew have done a brilliant job in RTMC and I'm absolutely sure this film will blow everyone's mind away."
The producers have not spared any effort either; and claim it is the most expensive horror film that Bollywood has ever witnessed till date. Says Mahesh Bhatt, "The film is based on Kabir's doha - Bura jo dekhan main chala bura naa milya koy, Jo munn khoja apnaa to mujhse bura naa koye. The film is based on the concept that both good and evil exist within us and who can help you escape the evil within you?"
The film's hot trailer has had film buffs biting their nails, making RTMC one of the most talked-about flicks of the season. The story of RTMC is written by Shagufta Rafique.
The film features one of the biggest soundtracks of the season, with music by composers like Raju Singh, Gourov Dasgupta and debutantes Toshi and Sharib Sabri and more putting together a truly great album. The album has been in stores since the 2nd week of December and has received a massive response. The music has been a great success across radio, television and internet.
Shridhar Subramaniam, Managing Director SONY BMG says, "We have had a very successful association with the Bhatts with Jannat. The music of this film has ruled the charts and continues to be a hot favourite. So also, Raaz - The Mystery Continues has become a musical sensation and a great experience for all film music  buffs.. We're all looking forward to this release as much as the audience is."

On the occasion Emraan Hashmi sold few tickets himself to his ten lucky fans with his autography at the ticket selling counter at NOX Garuda Mall
The film has also been "helped" by a bit of controversy on its side. A hot scene by Kangana raised the hackles of the censor board which has been reportedly cut. Asked about it, Kangana joked, "You could get to see me nude!"
Kangana also spoke about her experience in acting with south based movies, in Dham Dhoom, with Jayam Ravi, directed by Jeeva. Kangana made her Tamil debut with this film and is referred to as the new age Meenakumari, having played mostly tragic characters that are suicidal and self-destructive. In Gangster she jumps from a skyscraper, in Woh Lamhe she slashes her wrist, unable to cope with the brain disorder, in Life in Metro she drinks phenoyl and in Fashion she dies of cocaine overdose. Now in Raaz The Mystery Continues she plays a ghostly possessed character.
