Astronomy Course for all

A short duration evening course in basic astronomy will be conducted at M.P. Birla Institute of Fundamental Research, Bangalore from 3rd February 2009. This course is open to all and there are no restrictions with regard to age or academic background. Course content includes understanding astronomical concepts, observational techniques and telescopes. As a part of the curriculum a field trip to Vainu Bappu Observatory is also included.
