Makkala Mantapa Fest

Premaanjali Educational Trust in association with Hindu Seva Pratishthana is organizing the 2nd  inter- school children fest, Makkala Mantapa 2009 on Jan 2-3.
Various sports and cultural competitions are being held as part of the fest. The dignitaries who graced the event on the inaugural day included Sri BN Vijaykumar, MLA, Jayanagar, Tejaswini Ananthkumar, Director, Adhamya Chethana, A..Balakrishna, Ramakrishna Farms, D M Kiran, Trustee, Hindu Seva Pratistana, A Balakrishna Hegde, Chairman, Premanjali Educational Trust.
Sriyuths Hanumanthrayappa K.P, Joint director, Sarva Shikshana Abhjyana, Mahadev, Chief Secretary, Paralympics Committee of India., A. Balakrishna Hegde, Chairman, Premanjali Educational Trust, S.L Krishnamurthy, Convener, Hindu Seva Prathistana will preside over the valedictory on Jan 4. A streetplay will also be held on the valedictory. Venue is V.E.T college auditorium, 14th Main Road JP Nagar 2nd Phase.
The trust undertakes several social projects for the poor such as home for the destitutes, Andhardrishti for the blind and Saniha for the underprivileged, daycare centers for children of stone quarry workers, mid-day meals for rural children, etc.
