Know How Your House Fares

A house with defective vastu has disturbed vibrations. These disturbed vibrations distort the harmony of waves in the house. A house with a network of defective waves emits "noise", whereas a house in a healthy environment creates "sound".  Noise represents a diseased state because it causes all kinds of negativity related to body, mind and intellect of the person. The affected person will perforce choose wrong decisions in life, his progress is truncated and he loses his peace of mind. His cosmic reference stops to protect him from the negative confluence of evil energies. 
For the welfare of our own selves and our family, it is important that we appraise Vastu Chastra in the right spirit. With the help of proper counsel and guidance, it is important to identify the faulty vastu conditions without ambiguity and seek remedy. Once the problems are identified and the deficiencies properly understood by an expert vastu practitioner he can suggest perfect solutions to ease the mandalakar streaming of energy in the space of the house and the plot. A problem identified is a problem half solved.
The following conditions lead to faulty streaming of energy and may also cause imbalance in five great elements (pancha maha bhoothas):-
•Cuts and extensions to sub-directions in the plot.
•Cuts and extensions to sub-directions in the house.
•Roads directly touching plot.
•Wells, borewells, underground water tank in Northwest, West, South, South and Southeast.
•Toilets to the North, Northeast, East and Southeast zones.
•Staircases in North, Northeast and East.
•Slopes to South, Southwest, West and Southeast.
•Roof slopes to South, Southwest, West and Southeast.
•Extensions, terraces and balconies in the Northwest, West, Southwest, South and Southeast of the house.
•Three doors or entrance passages opening to South or West zones.
•Plots with cross axis.
•If North, Northeast and East are closed.
•If South, Southwest and West are streaming.
•Vedh or obstructions to the entrance.
•If the staircase is anti-clockwise.
•If the staircase flight goes up in front of the main door that opens to North or East and if the staircase flight goes down in front of the main door that opens to South or West.
•If the Brahmasthan (central zone of the plot. / bldg.) is not proper.
•Trees and plants in the wrong zones.
•A pyramidal canopy to the North, Northeast and East zones.
•A kitchen in any other direction other than the Southeast.
•Due to corporation by-laws of setback and side margins, the west and south facing plots create faults in the zoning of the building.

 It is very important for the reader to know that most houses will betray at least a few of the above conditions. But there is no reason to despair because any fault in isolation will not affect severely.  If the fault in one zone is supported by another fault in another zone, then, the severity of faults could be dangerous.  
The wisdom of traditional Vastu Shastra and Astrology has easy tools to counter the effects of all mahadoshas.  Vastu remedies given are based on cleansing of spaces in a house, in a plot, in an individual and in the macrocosm.
