Ambi & SPB honoured in JP Nagar

The Chalukya Utsava 2008 organised by Chalukya Gelayara Balaga, JP Nagar was a grand success with scintillating performances from SP Balasubramaniam, Guru Kiran, winners of ETV's Edhe Thumbi Haaduvenu, and star turnout by veteran actor-politician Ambarish who was honoured by the organizers. Leaders from Congress and BJP also took part in the event, viz. HC Krishna, Arun Kumar, Gurudev, of Congress and former corporators SK Nataraj and Muniyappan and LR Ramesh of BJP.

The Chalukya Gelayara Balaga provides free ambulance service, distributes free notebooks to students of government schools, and regularly honours eminent citizens of JP Nagar, said Sridhar, organizer. The program was telecast on local channel, C5 and Suvarna TV.
