IDL's blind troupe to usher in Christmas

On the occasion of WORLD DISABLED DAY and the month of December - the CHRISTMAS season, IDL BLIND BAND, a musical troupe by visually challenged artists, (VCA) is all set to roll out a special and unique concept 'SANTA CLAUS & CHRISTMAS CAROLS' to Bangaloreans.
The band will spread the message of love through carol songs in both English and Kannada, dressed in Santa Clas caps. The songs will be sung to the soulful accompaniment of foot tapping music by talented musicians playing Acoustic Guitar, Accordion, Dholak, Bangos, Jumba and cymbals. The band of six blind singers plan to present their performance in schools, colleges, shopping malls, corporate offices and other social forums.

P.K. Paul, founder and executive trustee of IDL FOUNDATION, announced the event dressed as Santa. Ashwini Nachappa, sportsperson, E. Krishnappa, film director Radhakrishna, Director, Dept of Disability, were present.
