SPB, Guru Kiran to entertain JP Nagar

It’s an event residents of JP Nagar eagerly look forward to every year: the 7th successful Chalukya Utsava 2008, organized by Chalakya Galayara Balaga from Nov 28-30, 2008. 

SPB fans can look forward to a scintillating treat from legendary SP Balasubramaniam on the first day, followed by film and Bhava geethe performance by Raju Ananthaswamy, and a special performance from the winners of E-TV’s Edaya Thumbi Haaduvenu troop, at 6 pm.

The event will climax with a performance by famous music director and playback singer Guru Kiran.
Congress leader HC Krishna, former corporators SK Nataraj and Muniyyrapan, Arun Kumar, Congress leader, Gurudev, KPCC and LR Ramesh, BJP, will preside.

Apart from the stage events, the organizers have included a bouquet of food courts and amusements parks for children, with full lighting on the all sides of the road up to approximately ½ km on either side.

The Chalakya Gelayara Balaga provides free ambulance service, distributes free notebooks to students of government schools, and regularly honours the eminent citizens of JP Nagar, said Sridhar. Couch potatoes can catch the program on the local channel, C5 and Suvarna TV.
