Cognizant's "High-Q" Initiative for Students

In an effort to create a knowledge platform for school students and give them an opportunity to interact with students from other schools and cities, Cognizant is organizing its innovative "High-Q" initiative in Bangalore on 15 November, 2008, at the St. John's Auditorium, Koramangala (Opp BDA Complex), Bangalore.

High-Q is a knowledge initiative aimed specifically at students studying in classes X, XI and XII. It seeks to nurture knowledge and creativity among students, make them aware of multiple career options and help them become true all-rounders. This initiative intends to expand their awareness of current affairs and business happenings, and expose them to new and emerging career options, thereby helping them to make an informed decision about their future.

The highlights of the Bangalore edition of High-Q will be an inter-school quiz competition anchored by popular quizmaster Giri "Pick Brain" Balasubramaniam and an interactive session on "Higher education options" by Jayaprakash A Gandhi, career consultant and analyst.

Students from all leading schools in and around Bangalore are being invited to participate in this initiative. With loads of prizes-including iPods-up for grabs, the event is expected to draw the best of talent. Each team for the quiz will comprise three students from the same school, nominated by the head of the institution. There is no restriction on the number of teams from a school.
