Diabetic camp at Jayanagar

November ‘14th is celebrated as “ World Diabetics Day”. In eve of that, Sreenidhi diabetic foundation is organizing a diabetic camp from 8 to 16 November, which will be inaugurated by Shri. BN Vijayakumar, MLA, Jayanagar, preside by HV. Premkumar Hariyabbe, assistance editor Prajavani, more than 30 types of blood test, will be conducted during the camp at discounted prices.

Burning sensation, loss of sensation in lower limbs are the common symptoms, that  diabetes patients often suffer from. A special instrument “ Biothesmeter” has been arranged to detect this, circulation of the blood in lower limbs can be assessed by “PAD” test which helps in preventing further complication such as wound, infection, gangrene and amputation of the feet.
