Restrict multi-storeyed complexes in J'nagar

A meeting of the Federation of Jayanagar Residents Association was held on 24th Oct 2008. The meeting was attended by over 13 Resident Welfare Association of Jayanagar. The meeting deliberated on the works undertaken by the Jayanagar MLA Sri B.N. Vijayakumar, such as replacement of old drainage pipes in Jayanagar, providing lights at Bavi Park, provision of toilets near South end Circle and regular cleaning of garbage in Jayanagar. 

The associations represented to the Jayanagar MLA to speed up the following works – additional signal lights, hawkers on footpath in 38th Cross to be cleared, additional BMTC buses, maintain the playgrounds neatly, ban sale of non-vegetarian food in footpaths, and asphalting of all roads in Jayanagar.
Further, an appeal was made to the Government to restrict construction of multi-storied buildings in residential areas..
