BLENDERS PRIDE RESERVE COLLECTION FASHION SHOWERS 2012
Bangalore- The 2nd edition of ‘Blenders Pride Reserve collection FASHION SHOWERS in association with Jaguar’ was held last night at Vivanta by Taj, with an exclusive invite-only guest list. The night saw glamorous fashion shows by Bangalore’s very own Ramesh Dembla and Kolkata-based designer Abhishek Dutta. DJ Clitus and DJ Yon walked the ramp and unveiled Volume 1 of the BFWTunes High Fashion Runway music.
Bollywood actress Nisha Kothari and Sandalwood actress Sanjana walked the ramp as showstoppers for Abhishek and Ramesh respectively. The night also saw the after party where DJ Anastasia from Tokyo spinning energetic numbers from the edge of the ramp set up over the pool, much to the enchantment of the party people who danced the night away.
BFWTunes, an exclusive collection of runway music, is the first such concept in India, introduced by Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week. An eminent group of Indian DJs composed exclusive soundtracks for BFWTunes, providing designers with their own customized music.
This concept, introduced by Dream Merchants, organizers of Bangalore Fashion Week is very new to the Indian Fashion Industry & Bangalore Fashion Week displayed the first example of this unique concept that will create tunes for acclaimed designers from all over the world.
BPBFW has been known for giving emerging designers a platform to showcase their talent & designs. However, with BFWTunes, it will also give budding musicians, composers & DJs an opportunity to exhibit their creativity through their music. The objective of BFWTunes is to provide a customized and wholesome experience aurally to the designers and audience alike.Mr. Feroz Khan, Creative Director – Dream Merchants said, “Bangalore Fashion Week has been introducing innovative concepts every year.
