Bangalore – Country club India had organized a fashion show for their esteemed members at country club Sarjapura arlier this week. The night witnessed a  mesmerizing fashionistas  by Fashion historian, designer and stylist Shilpi choudhury presenting her two collections ‘Dark Magic’ and ’firangi desi’ both the collections speak about her creative expressions fearlessly bold and progressive the ‘Dark Magic’ is the creation for free spirit showcased in shredded leggings, mesh drape with box pleats ,Indian Choli style and Victorian influenced sleeves. The deliberate sexiness of the makeup with Smokey creativity and accessorizing in cutwork collar and earpiece influence is the Elizabethan period of the English empire .All the accessories are handmade and works of art. The second collection ‘firangi desi’ is crossing over the line collection created out of Benaras weaves from the land of the Ganges and giving it a cowl cocktail dress across the seven seas .Collection is in vibrant colour which has a blend and weave so Indian yet the presentation is so western a perfect blend of Indian weaves gone international. Shilpi Choudhury’s collections are Bohemian ;a perfect blend of art, craft, creative and progressive. Models were stunning and to grace the event soorya Kiran an actor from the Tamil film industry was the show stopper.
